Frequently Asked Questions
What makes cold-pressed extraction different?
Cold-press extraction is a mechanical process rather than a chemical process. Since it does not involve heat, solvents, extreme cold, or other chemicals, cannabinoids are preserved in their purest state, (base and acid precursors). In addition, Terpenes and other phytonutrients are preserved, resulting in a product with full-spectrum cannabinoids, terpenes, and polyphenols that help regulate body functions through the endocannabinoid system. This synergism of phytonutrients is commonly known as the “entourage effect”.
What carrier oil do you use?
Our process uses only two ingredients: Vermont-grown hemp flower (organic methods), and viable, raw, USA grown hemp seeds (organic methods) that are pressed together to form a homogenous oil. The hemp seeds provide the oil, and the hemp flower provides the cannabinoids, terpenes, and other phytonutrients.
How is full-spectrum different from broad-spectrum or isolates?
Our products are full-spectrum+, meaning that all of the cannabinoids in the hemp flower we grow, are present, and include Terpenes and other phytonutrients. The results of third party testing are shared on our website and on an information card that comes with our ingestible products. Broad-spectrum products do not contain all of the cannabinoids, often leaving out any trace of THC. Isolates are single cannabinoids (such as CBD), often cheaply made and of dubious origin, added to products.
Are your products organic?
All of our ingredients are grown by organic methods or certified organic.
How much do I take for best results?
You are an individual with specific endocannabinoid system needs. For best results follow the instructions on the package, start slow, pay attention to how you feel and gradually increase the amount as needed.
